Critical Jenkins Vulnerability Exposes Servers to RCE Attacks – Patch ASAP!

The maintainers of Jenkins, the open-source continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation software, have issued an urgent patch to resolve nine security flaws, including a critical vulnerability that could expose servers to remote code execution (RCE) attacks. The critical bug, assigned the identifier CVE-2024-23897, has been characterized as an arbitrary file read vulnerability. Jenkins users are strongly advised to apply the updates as soon as possible to fortify their systems against potential intrusions and breaches.
